"The strange thing is that as the holiday's
traumatizing catastrophes multiply, your eye
shifts protectively to the puppets' faces.
Irrationally, you scan their frozen features for
some sign of how these figurative blows are
being received. And of course, as is often the
case with the internalized suffering of the very
young, blankness is all you get in return. . . At all
times, the puppetry is integrated seamlessly."

"The delightful clowning proved witty both physically and with wonderful timing by Jon Egging as Costard and Courtney Bell as Moth... This production was just plain fun."

"Gordon Porterfield's quirky little love story,
'Snow,' might not have seen theater lights if it
hadn't been for the actor who created one of
it's roles. The two-character play had been
written as a one-act, but the playwright
couldn't find the right woman for the female
part. After rewriting it as a full-length play, he
discovered Courtney Bell.
'She knew how to read the lines immediately,'
Porterfield said. 'I knew she was the one. We
must have read 25 different women, and the
moment she opened her mouth, she was it.'"
